Trial Fonts. End User Licence Agreement

IMPORTANT! Please read this document carefully and keep a copy for further reference.

This End User Licence Agreement (EULA) is a legal contract between you (the licensee) and NM type (Noel Pretorius and María Ramos Silva). It is applicable to the Font Soft- ware that accompanies this document.

By downloading, installing and/or using this Font Software, you acknowledge that you understand this agreement and accept its terms.

It is important to mention that “Font Software” refers here to the software that gener- ates the fonts but also to the design of the typefaces (Typeface Design).

1. Licence and usage rights

1.1. Number of users

This Font Software is restricted to one person (the licensee). If the Font Software needs to be used by several people, each one must get their own trial fonts, filling in the form with their data on our site.

1.2. Type of licence: Trial licence

You may install and use the Font Software on computing devices you own. Installation on shared devices is not allowed. You can only use the Font Software for testing purpos- es, non-public proposals and student projects.

Online web embedding is not allowed. If you use the Font Software for presenting a proposal or student work, the files must always be located on computing devices you own and never shared or installed on other devices or servers.

Font embedding in apps or e-books is not allowed.

2. Copyright

Font Software are intellectual property of and are owned by Noel Pretorius and María Ramos Silva (NM type). All the rights are reserved to NM type. You do not gain the own- ership of the Font Software under this EULA.

If you use the Font Software in a proposal that includes design credits, you should also include the name of the Font Software and the name of the authors (Noel Pretorius and María Ramos) which can be abbreviated as “NM type”.

3. Distribution and modification

You are not allowed to give, rent or lease the Font Software or parts of it to a third par- ty. Distribution, loan, sell, or sub-licence of the Font Software is prohibited. You are also responsible to prevent the unauthorised use and distribution of the Font Software. You shall not transfer any of your rights, duties and obligations under this EULA to any per- son or entity.

The Font Software may not be copied or duplicated in any form. You are not allowed to modify, adapt, decompile or alter the Font Software. Any modification of the Font Software, including conversion into other formats, requires written consent of NM type.

4. Updating and upgrading

NM type is not obligated to provide updates of the Font Software. If the Font Software is updated in any way, this may be subject of a new licence. You can upgrade your licence for commercial or personal use at any time. For more information about your specific request, contact NM type providing your licence details.

5. Warranties

NM type cannot warrant the performance or results obtained by using this Font Soft- ware. NM type does not warrant that the operation of the Font Software will be unin- terrupted or error-free, or that the Font Software is without defects. NM type will not be liable for any damages, claims or costs arising out of any use of, or inability of use, this Font Software.

6. Termination

This licence is perpetual, unless you breach any term of this EULA. In such a case, your licence and rights of use of the Font Software will be immediately invalidated. In the event of termination you must delete the Font Software and any copy you may have.

7. Final provisions

All rights not granted in this document to you are reserved to Noel Pretorius and María Ramos Silva.

This contract is subject to the laws of Spain and Sweden. Typeface Design and Font Software are protected by copyright international laws.
